Rob Fastenau

Rob Fastenau studied Applied Physics at the TU Delft and started working at Philips Research after which he became Director R&D of the Electron Optics Business Unit of Philips.
Philips sold this business to FEI company, where he was CTO. In 2011 he became dean of the EEMCS Faculty until 2017 and e-dean until 2019. After retiring, he is mainly active in beta and technology promotion for children.
