Teacher of the Year
On the 20th of December the annual TU Teacher of the year election will take place. The nominee from EEMCS will be dr. ir. Mark Veraar. Last year he won the EEMCS Teacher of the Year award after teaching real analysis to the 2nd year students of Applied mathematics and Stochastic Differential Equations to the master students.

Career Collge 2.2: PhD Panel
Most people start working at a company after they have finished their graduate project. Some, on the other hand, will continue in the field of doing research by the means of a Phd.
This panel will host a discussion on doing a Phd. Phd’ers from different stages will come together and introduce what a Phd is, and what it means for them. The discussion will be led by Alexandru Iosup, the national teacher and IT researcher of the year.

ADSL: Drinks with Teachers
On Wednesday 22 November the annual ADSL (Algemene Docenten Studenten Lounge, which translates to General Teachers and Students Lounge) will take place in the /Pub. During the ADSL, teachers and students get the opportunity to meet in a more relaxed environment. You can talk with your teachers about education, but also about their lives next to education, while you enjoy free drinks (only the teachers can get free drinks for themselves and the students).
