Dear student,

Being a member of study association 'Christiaan Huygens' means that you are studying Applied Mathematics and/or Computer Science. The association is constantly trying to improve education and by means of this e-mail, we inform you about changes in that field.

In addition, this email serves as a reminder for you to enroll for exams and about the possibility to buy your study books at 'Christiaan Huygens'. At the bottom of this e-mail, you'll find a concise calendar with just the educational activities.

Kind regards,

Marc Corstanje & Francis Behnen

National Student Survey (Nationale Studenten Enquête)

The annual National Student Survey is one of the most important education surveys of the year. The survey contains several questions about the quality of your study and the TU Delft in general. The results are used to compare the studies of TU Delft and to compare our university to the other universities in the Netherlands and thereby determine which areas need improvement.

You can participate in the survey until March 11. By filling in the survey, you can win a travel cheque of €2000 or a Ticketmaster eGift card.

Focus Group

Just as in the bachelor we organise student panel evaluation sessions in the master. These panels called "Focus Groups" were organised once every semester. As study association we really like the quick feedback we get in the bachelor during the "College Responsie Groep" (CRG) every quarter. Therefore we have organised an extra Focus Group for the masters Applied Mathematics and one for Computer Science in the past quarter. We are planning to do this after Q3 as well, so that we have the same evaluation cycle as in the bachelor. If you are interested in joining this student panel, please register at wisv.ch/focusgroup

FeedbackTool

Since the beginning of this year of study, we have launched the FeedbackTool. If you have any short feedback on the education at EEMCS or on the study association, you can go to wisv.ch/feedback at any time and give all the feedback you have. All the feedback will go right to the study association and, if possible, can be handled right away. So if you see anything that can be done better, wisv.ch/feedback is the place to be!
