[Cancelled] On-Stage Interview – Ronald Prins

Unfortunately, the On-Stage Interview has been cancelled due to the new regulations of the government.

We strive to organise an On-Stage Interview later this year.

Come to the On-Stage Interview of Ronald Prins, one of the co-founders of Fox-IT, where he will be interviewed by Joost Schellevis, a tech-journalist of the NOS.

The On-Stage Interview will take place on the 18th of December. The event will be partially organized in person, in the auditorium of the Aula. The room has a maximum of 30 people according the current regulations. This means there are limited spots available. In order to make sure everyone is able to attend the interview, the on-stage interview will also be available online via a livestream.

Register here to receive the link to watch the livestream in your mailbox or to attend the physical event.

About Ronald Prins

After graduating from TU Delft in 1994, in Applied Mathematics. Ronald Prins worked at the Dutch Forensic Institute on breaking security used by criminals. In 1999 he founded Fox-IT with fellow TU Delft alumnus Menno van der Marel. The company would eventually be in the very first rank of internet security providers. Since then, he has been a Associate member at the Dutch Safety Board and member of the TiB, an independent organization that supervises whether the AIVD uses their power legitimately. Currently, he is busy with a new venture he co-founded, Hunt & Hackett, that helps their customers to fight digital espionage by other countries. He is the perfect example of someone who turned his hobby into his job, followed his heart and by that achieved great success. This does not only make him a top entrepreneur, but also a great inspiration for current and future students. For this and other accomplishments he was also pronounced as Alumnus of the Year 2016.
