On October 31st, Douane completed one of its largest IT transformations with the introduction of the New Computerised Transit System Phase 5 (NCTS5). NCTS5 aims to streamline and modernise transit procedures, enhancing efficiency and compliance for over 1800 organisations using the new application. The application is used for transit declarations related to all goods transported through and within the Netherlands. The presentation will give an overview of the NCTS5 and the implementation project.
