Lunch Lecture Mathematics

This talk introduces mathematical modeling in biology, focusing on the cellular Potts model, which describes cell shape, motion, and interactions. The model can be coupled with differential equations (including ODEs, reaction-diffusion PDEs, and finite element methods) to model signals inside cells and their surrounding tissue.
